Ms Rachel Lattimore

Rachel Lattimore was appointed as Community Housing Limited’s (CHL) Community Development Project Manager for WA in July 2016. CHL manages social and affordable housing across WA, and community development projects are underway in areas where CHL has a presence. Projects are based in remote and town based Aboriginal communities in the East Kimberley, and in the Goldfields.

Rachel has a Masters Degree in Education and Counselling with Distinction and a Diploma in Adult Teaching and Learning. Rachel has worked in the NGO and education sectors for over 15 years. After almost 9 years in a community NGO in New Zealand, Rachel became a Senior Lecturer and Program Leader in the Human services Programmes.

In 2015 Rachel moved to Tjuntjuntjara, one of the most remote isolated Aboriginal communities in Australia, to work in community development coordinating the Women’s Centre. Currently residing in Kununurra, Rachel works as a Community Development Project Manager with Aboriginal communities in the East Kimberley and Goldfields, as well as managing town based community development projects.
