Trudi Ray

Trudi Ray is the Deputy CEO and Chief Operations Officer at Haven Home Safe (HHS), a homelessness organisation specialising in housing solutions. HHS works with government, public and private partners to connect people with housing options and the support services they need to find and keep a place called home.

As well as leading HHS’ operations across metro, regional and rural Victoria, Trudi is also the Chair of CHIA Victoria and is the Victorian Director for the Australian Housing Institute Board. A former Councillor with the City of Greater Bendigo, and now living and working in Geelong, Trudi brings an empathy for the diverse needs of regional communities. Known for her commitment to speaking up for those who need a voice, Trudi is committed to social justice issues and advocates strongly for those who are homeless, in housing crisis or fleeing family violence.

Trudi has studied at Harvard Business School, has an MBA and a BA in Psychology/Sociology and has worked in the community housing sector for 19 years.
