Consultation about National Audit and Operational Framework Safe at Home Programs

UNSW, Sydney is undertaking a National Audit of Safe at Home programs funded by the Commonwealth Department of Social Services.

This work is well underway and will continue until end of 2020 engaging with a range of stakeholders in different jurisdictions about Safe at Home programs.

The Audit will inform the development of a National Operational Framework for Safe at Home programs.

We would like to invite you to share your views about the following questions to inform the development of the Operational Framework.

  • What is your experience of Safe at Home Programs in your state or territory?
  • What is your experience of providing services that provide housing in response to domestic and family violence?
  • What are the factors that influence women’s ability to stay in or leave their home?
  • What needs to happen to assist women and children to experiencing domestic and family violence to stay in their home safely or move to their home of choice?
