 Luke Howarth

Mr Howarth was born in Brisbane and raised in Bracken Ridge Queensland. After school he spent more than a decade working in the music industry before entering into the small business sector with his immediate family. Mr Howarth’s pest control business employed 15 local people and grew from a small humble business to the successful and well-known local business.

Mr Howarth is a family man and a passionate community advocate. He was first elected as the Federal Member for Petrie in 2013, and has been returned as the member for two consecutive terms.  Mr Howarth was recently appointed as the Coalition’s first ever Assistant Minister for Community Housing, Homelessness, and Community Services and is committed to working with all levels of government, community organisations and the private sector.
