 Alice Lawson

Alice Lawson is the Director, Business Improvement in the SA Housing Authority managing a team of 200 staff.  The Authority assists over 80,000 low income families each year with social housing, homelessness support and private rental services.

She has worked in state government for the last 15 years, previously working in community housing and technology sectors. She is driving a three year $45m transformation program to replace the Authority’s 30 year old legacy ICT systems with modern cloud based, software as service technology and re-engineered practices including over 70 digital interfaces with partnering organisations and a new online customer self service portal.

She has led reforms nationally in inclusionary zoning, affordable housing supply and social housing service design, with a central aim of building network capability across providers to improve the quality of housing services.

Alice holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering and a Masters in Public Policy.
