Mr. Dwayne McInnes is the Deputy Chief Executive of the Remote Program Delivery Office and Community Services for the Department of Local Government, Housing and Community Development within the Northern Territory Government.

Dwayne’s career as a senior public servant in the Northern Territory spans more than two decades and in this time, he has held a range of diverse positions including Chief Financial Officer, Executive Director, Corporate Services, Executive Director of Remote Housing NT and Senior Director Financial Management within the Department of Treasury and Finance.

Dwayne’s strategic executive management experience provides him with the expertise to oversight the delivery of a broad portfolio of responsibilities including the Northern Territory Government’s $1.1 billion remote housing program in addition to the improvement of town camps assets and homes, the continued growth and focus of the Aboriginal Interpreter Services (AIS) both in the NT and throughout other jurisdictions, the improvement of services within the Homelands across the Territory and the management of the Commonwealth’s investment of $550 million into the remote housing program under the National Partnership Agreement.

Dwayne holds a Bachelor of Business, majoring in accounting and is a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
