 Jess Pomeroy

Jess is the policy and projects officer at CHIA Vic, the peak body that represents the not-for-profit community housing sector in Victoria. Jess has over a decade of experience working in housing policy and research both in Australia and overseas. She has held roles at a variety of not-for-profit organisations as well as working as a researcher and research administrator at RMIT University.

Since joining CHIA Vic almost two years ago Jess has worked with the Victorian community housing sector and external stakeholders across a range of topics. These have ranged from the impacts of the NDIS on tenants with mental ill-health, initiatives to increase the energy efficiency of community housing stock, and developing a social outcomes framework for community housing tenants.

Jess has a strong interest in supporting the growth and development of the community housing sector to ensure that everyone has the safety, security and dignity of a home.
