 Sally Kubiak

Sally Kubiak has over 20 years’ experience in the human service sector, primarily in the development of policy, strategy and program implementation across Justice, Mental Health, Housing and the NGO sector.

Sally joined the Aboriginal Housing Office (AHO) in 2016 as Director of the Policy, Program and Design Innovation division, and has led the development of Strong Family Strong Communities 10 year Aboriginal Social Housing Strategy (2018-2028).

This work has included a strong focus on commissioning and evidenced based housing need.

Since 2017 Sally has also worked closely with AHO’s first client facing program – Services Our Way –steering it through its re-designed remit (from a focus on disability to working with all vulnerable Aboriginal  families) and supporting the team to embed rigorous client-centred  processes and systems.

 

Sally’s work to lead and coordinate policy, research, evaluation and program implementation, supports the AHO to achieve its vision and mission of ensuring that every Aboriginal person has access and choice in affordable housing.
