 Sorcha Walshe

Sorcha is a human services professional currently working as Stakeholder Engagement Officer at Shelter SA, the peak body for housing in South Australia. She has a strong interest in researching social issues and inequalities, supported by her background in anthropology, gender studies, and social analysis. Sorcha has researched South Australian domestic violence legislation, policy and service delivery, and presented the findings and recommendations to government and human service workers. She recently contributed to a research project looking at the challenges and opportunities in the private rental market for Aboriginal peoples. Sorcha has a passion for stakeholder engagement and communications, and helps organise and conduct workshops focussing on housing solutions and innovation in regional areas.
