Stan Grant joins line up for NHC 2019

We begin the year by welcoming Stan Grant as a keynote speaker at #NHCDarwin. Stan is a proud Wiradjuri man who has authored two books; Talking to My Country and Tears of Strangers. His knowledge and experience render him well suited to lead the dialogue on Indigenous housing at #NHCDarwin.

Formerly a co-presenter of SBS World News Australia, Hong Kong correspondent for CNN International, Sky News journalist and Indigenous affairs editor at Guardian Australia, Stan has received a Walkley Award for his legacy in the sector and his coverage of Indigenous affairs.

In 2018 Stan was the Chief Asia Correspondent at ABC and host of the insightful current affairs show Matter of Fact. In his current role as Professor of Global Affairs at Griffith University, Stan elevates knowledge over opinion in a rapidly changing world.

Stan’s interest in future communities renders him the perfect fit for our 2019 conference.
