Hon Julie Collins MP

We are pleased to announce that the Federal Minister for Housing and Homelessness, The Hon Julie Collins MP will deliver the opening address on Tuesday 10 October at the National Housing Conference in Brisbane. Minister Collins oversees the Government’s ambitious housing and homelessness policy agenda.

Julie Collins was elected as the first female representative for Franklin in Tasmania in 2007. Julie entered politics because she deeply believes quality education, decent health services and fairness in the workplace should be available to everyone.

In both government and opposition, she has been responsible for a range of policy areas including Community Services, the Status of Women, Employment and Ageing.
