National Housing Conference 2023

Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, 10-12 October 2023

The National Housing Conference (NHC) has been staged in partnership between state and territory governments and AHURI for over twenty years. Convened every two years and attracting over 1,000 delegates, it is the largest housing conference in Australasia.

NHC returns in 2023 – to be staged for the first time since 2012 in the Sunshine state’s capital, Brisbane.

NHC is a 3-day forum bringing together international and local evidence, best practice and policy to address Australia’s housing challenges. NHC is the largest cross-sectoral housing event in Australasia and is a key platform for policy makers, housing and community service providers, researchers, planners, and private industry to contribute to shaping improved housing outcomes across Australia

The National Housing Conference hosted by AHURI will take place 10-12 October 2023 in Brisbane with a diverse list of guest speakers and an enlightening program over a 3-day forum. Staged in Brisbane, it’s the perfect location to explore the learnings for Australia’s housing system. Discussion will focus on themes of Community and wellbeing; Investment and supply; and Innovation and collaboration, as we explore A way forward for addressing Australia’s housing challenges.

The program sessions will examine the latest evidence, significant policy reforms and shining examples of best practice in delivering and improving housing options for Australians.

More than 1250 delegates joined us in Melbourne for a memorable 2022 conference and we expect an even larger audience will join us in Brisbane and online for the National Housing Conference 2023.
