Dean Sullivan

Dean is southern region Team Leader with the Housing Connect Support program provided by CatholicCare Tasmania. Dean spent 10 years as a housing support practitioner, first working under a housing first model for people with high and complex needs, and later in general practice working across all stages of homelessness and types of housing. He has also held management roles focused on staff supervision, specialist consultation, and service delivery. Dean has published and spoken on complexity and homelessness. His work includes Complexity and Housing First; Complexity, Triage, and Housing Support: Responding to the Hobart Housing Crisis; and A Complex Systems Approach to Homelessness. Dean is currently on sabbatical working in housing services in Queensland. Dean has a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Tasmania.
